While Dr. Emily is on maternity leave with new baby boy, Finn, Carter & Higgins Orthodontics is happy to welcome Dr. Phyllis C. Higgins.
Dr. Higgins grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. She has lived in New York City, Durham, and most recently Houston. Her family moved to Tulsa four years ago so that husband, Dr. Chris Higgins, could join his dad’s cardiology practice.
She attended college at Princeton University and received a degree in molecular biology. She then went onto Columbia University for her DDS and MS in craniofacial biology and certificate in Orthodontics.
We asked Dr. Higgins to name one thing she loves most about her job and she said:
“I love being able to make a positive difference in our patient’s lives.”
Dr. Higgins’ favorite Tulsa summer activities are going to the pool and watching her two boys play outside with the neighbors.
