There are great local spots here in Tulsa to grab a smoothie like Nourish and the Coffee House on Cherry Street. Here are some of our favorite recipes that you can make at home! Add spinach to any of these- we promise you won’t taste it and it adds so many nutrients to your smoothie!
- Orange-Banana-Pineapple Frappe
- Strawberry Banana Smoothie (adapted from Gimme Some Oven)
- 1 fresh peeled banana
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 cup of milk, kefir, almond milk, or soy milk
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- A couple big handfuls of spinach-we promise, it’s great!
- Anti-Inflammatory Cherry Mango Smoothie- A great natural anti-inflammatory to help ease any discomfort!
- 1 cup frozen sweet cherries
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1.5 cups vanilla almond milk
- 1 banana
- a couple big handfuls of spinach
- Pumpkin Pie Smoothie- This is perfect for the fall season!
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup (120g) vanilla Greek yogurt1
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice2
- 1/2 cup (120ml) skim milk3
- 2 Tablespoons (30ml) pure maple syrup
- 2/3 cup (150g) pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)
- 1 cup ice
- Tropical Sunshine Smoothie
- 2 cups frozen mango cubes
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon coconut extract
