Carter & Higgins Orthodontics has a fresh new look! Over the last few months our office has been bustling with activity. Painters, landscapers, designers, artists and your own CFO team has worked hard to create fun and exciting changes we think you are going to love! We would like to take a moment to give you a glimpse of what you will see and experience when you visit our practice.
Dr. Carter’s desire is to create a warm and welcoming environment that caters to all ages. The entire office has been sanded, scrubbed, buffed and painted by the talented Devon Whaling and the Whaling Painting team. Hung on our walls are beautiful paintings done by two of our favorite local artists, Carrie Wilson and Aubree Johnson. A giant chalkboard hangs in the reception room, featuring our office contests and events in the handiwork of gifted chalkboard artist Brooke Jones. While you wait for your appointment, you may now enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. We also have a children’s table with kid’s activities and comfortable seating for all.
We aim to please our patients by consistently providing comfort and ease. We take very few impressions of teeth now! In place of impressions is our Itero scanner, which takes photos of the upper and lower arches, as well as the patient’s bite. We are able to send these scans to the lab to make appliances, retainers and Invisalign trays. Our patients love this!
Whether you are a new patient or an existing patient, we have a special treat for you. We now have five operatories, where our patients can relax and enjoy the privacy of their own room. Along with their own room, our patients are also offered a delicious popsicle made by Jarrod’s Pro Pops on bonding day, in addition to some fun goodies to take home.
We even have a new rewards system! Patient’s earn points for items when they come to appointments on time, keep their teeth and gums healthy and clean, and write a review online for CFO. Points can be turned in for gift cards, electronic toothbrushes and more. Ask your clinical assistant for more information.
Here at CFO, we like to celebrate! We celebrate the day a patient begins treatment, we celebrate “Best Brushers” and we LOVE to celebrate with our patients on “Debond Day.” Wait until you see our Debond room full of candy, cool Carter & Higgins Orthodontics swag and balloons. This room is specially reserved for our patients who have completed treatment and are ready to walk out the door with their new handcrafted smile.
